Abstract Focusing on the temperaturedependence, the ratedependence and the strain hardening and/or softening behaviors of PC/ABS alloys under compression impact, this paper presented a rational internal time variable including the ABS toughening mechanism and developed a thermalviscoplastic endochronic constitutive model. The model is used to simulate the true stressstrain relationships of PC/ABS alloys at 20°C and 70°C and at strain rates of 8.0×102 ,2.7×103 ,1.0×104 s-1. The validity of the model was verified through comparing the simulations with the experimental data in the reference.
