Abstract The improved loss and deviation models for transonic compressor were developed based on 2D streamline curvature method according to public research findings. Considering 3D and Reynolds effects, the internal flow field of transonic compressor rotorNASA rotor 37 was calculated, thus obtaining the characteristic curve of design and offdesign points. The comparison of simulation and experiment value shows that this method can predict the performance and distribution of parameter with higher accuracy for axial compressor, and can be used for optimization and design of compressor.
