Abstract In this paper, a mechanismic analysis was made on singular condition of multipoints and multiedges in boolean operation. On the basis of intersection points eigenvalue, the problem of quadruplepoint and multiedges was addressed, and a complete solution for the singular problem on 2D boolean operation was given in a simple way.
