Abstract This paper introduced an auto inspection method for leakage in shield tunnels based on automatic identification of digital image, which uses an invented inspection vehicle to collect the field seepage information, and to grab the seepage through an algorithm. Then the method can finish the work after a statistical data process. The field test shows the results have high accuracy, little error, and the technology has great practical engineering application value.
