Abstract Abstract: In this paper, the initial boundary conditions for Raymond cylinder pile durability degradation was obtained from indoor test, and status information of the durability degradation was obtained from field sampling. Field investigation and pile body sampling were made to obtain the concrete chloride ion concentration profile of large pipe piles in service for 1 to 17 years. The degradation model for Raymond cylinder pile was built by a mathematic formula of Fick’s second law. The corrosion parameters of large pipe pile, such as the chloride ion diffusion coefficient, were obtained based on the statistical analysis of large amounts of data. Concrete chloride ion penetrations of the pile body and pile cap were compared and analyzed. The durability degradation law of Raymond cylinder pile was given, providing reference for large pipe pile durability design, use and maintenance.
