June 1, 2026, organized by the SJTU Journal Center, their flagship program Meet the Editors welcomed the editorial team of Cell Genomics to Shanghai Jiao Tong University for a series of academic exchange events dedicated to life sciences. Leveraging the resources of SJTU’s Medical-Engineering Interdisciplinary Journals Alliance and its international scholarly publishing network, the program aimed to connect researchers directly with leading journal editors and provide practical support for high-quality scientific publishing.
The event featured presentations and interactive discussions led by the Cell Genomics editorial team, covering journal scope, manuscript preparation, peer review expectations, and publication strategies for high-impact research. Through dedicated Q&A sessions and one-on-one consultations, researchers and students gained valuable insights into the editorial process and received tailored advice on communicating their research effectively to an international audience.
During the visit, the Cell Genomics editorial team also met with colleagues from SJTU Journal Center to exchange views on emerging trends in scholarly publishing, journal development, and international collaborations. These discussions further strengthened ties between SJTU and the global publishing community while creating new opportunities for future cooperation.
