Dilemma of “Justice”: the Intertextual Deconstruction of the English Narrative in Macbeth by Dunsinane

摘要

莎士比亚的著名悲剧《麦克白》深刻展现了权力欲望对人性的异化,但其文本刻意歪曲苏格兰历史,带有鲜明的英格兰中心主义倾向。当代苏格兰戏剧家大卫·格雷格的《邓西嫩》以互文手法续写并回应《麦克白》,重新审视英苏关系,颠覆了原作中的英格兰主导叙事。该剧一方面重塑格洛赫(麦克白夫人)的历史形象,保留并放大英军统帅西沃德这一“好人”角色;另一方面借苏格兰国王马尔康一角,揭露苏格兰氏族长期内斗的社会文化顽疾。作品在批判英格兰文化霸权的同时,也体现出剧作家在面对英苏关系及苏格兰未来是否走向独立时所持的审慎立场。
