Abstract The former window frame of highspeed train is welded by spacecurved beam made up of aluminum alloy, whose welding deformation is difficult to be under control. The correction of welding deformation mostly depends on experience in the factory, which leads to the reduction of manufacture precision. This article focuses on the welding deformation simulation of former window frame of highspeed train based on the inherent strain method. Compared with the actual measurement, it suggests that the method is accurate and applicable.
