Abstract
Abstract: The timehistory of wind velocity was simulated by using the harmonic superposition method, which was then turned into pressure timehistory of wind. By using the ANSYS software, the FEM model for the structural system was constructed, and the structural windinduced vibration responses under different incoming winds were calculated by using the simulated wind pressure timehistory. Moreover, a novel equivalent static wind load was established, where the windinduced dynamic amplification factor was combined with the instantaneous wind pressure distribution at a specific time. Finally, from numerical examples, the equivalent static wind load distribution based on the minimum vertical reaction forces and the maximum nodal displacement of the truss were obtained.
