In order to improve practice ability and compound quality of students majored in automation,a multidisciplinary engineering comprehensive and innovative teaching scheme based on robot soccer competition platform is proposed. Firstly, the background of robot soccer competition is introduced, then engineering training plan which matches the concept of CDIO based on robot soccer competition system is built to improve the ability of “solving complex engineering problems” for undergraduates. Finally, The key technologies and the training Content in the scheme are analyzed and discussed in detail. Practice shows that the robot soccer training activities are benefit to improve undergraduate students' engineering innovation and practice ability.
