On March 20, 2025, the 2025 CAS Journal Ranking was officially released. Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) has 19 journals selected into the 2025 CAS Journal Ranking, spanning 12 major disciplines, including Medicine, Engineering and Technology, Materials Science, Management, Education, Economics, Agricultural and Forestry Sciences, Sociology, Biology, Mathematics, Literature, and Physics and Astrophysics.
Five SJTU journals—Nano-Micro Letters, Translational Neurodegeneration, Journal of Ocean Engineering and Science, China Finance Review International, and Superconductivity—were ranked in Tier 1 of their respective disciplines and officially recognized as CAS Top Journals. The number of CAS Top Journals at SJTU ranks among the top in China’s universities.
Six journals—Asian Journal of Andrology, Interdisciplinary Sciences: Computational Life Sciences, Translational Research, Frontiers of Medicine, General Psychiatry, and Molecular Horticulture—were ranked in Tier 2, placing them within the global top 20% of their fields. Notably, Superconductivity and Molecular Horticulture made their debut in the 2025 CAS Journal Ranking. Congratulations to all selected journals!
