Mechanobiology in Medicine, the Open Access journal co-founded by Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Elsevier, has been officially indexedby the PubMed Central!
Mechanobiology in Medicine (MBM) aspires to become one of the most prominent publishing venue in mechanobiology by bringing together the most important advances in the discipline, enhancing their visibility by means of opinion and news articles, and providing overviews of the state of the art in each field through topic-, disease- or technology-focused review articles. Congratulations!
About PMC
PubMed Central is a free full-text archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature at the U.S. National Institutes of Health's National Library of Medicine (NIH/NLM). In keeping with NLM's legislative mandate to collect and preserve the biomedical literature, PMC is part of the NLM collection, which also includes NLM's extensive print and licensed electronic journal holdings and supports contemporary biomedical and health care research and practice as well as future scholarship.
About Mechanobiology in Medicine
Mechanobiology in Medicine is a peer-reviewed, open-access online journal focusing on research at the interface of mechanobiology and medicine. The journal looks forward to articles that demonstrate the use of principles and methods from modern natural sciences and engineering technologies to study the structure, function, and their interrelationships of the human body at multiple levels. It is dedicated to providing new insights into how mechanical signals regulate the homeostasis of biological behaviors at the molecular, cellular, and tissue levels, and how their dysregulation can lead to disease. The journal publishes research articles, reviews, and research letters, with a focus on new advances in mechanobiology related to the mechanisms of human disease occurrence, development, and prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. It has been selected as a high-starting new journal in the "China Science and Technology Journal Excellence Action Plan." It is now included in databases such as Scopus, DOAJ, and CAS (Chemical Abstracts Service).
