本文以系统功能语言学内的语类理论框架为主线,简要回顾韩礼德和哈桑的语类研究,概述了国内有关系统功能语言学的语类理论探讨。在此之后,本文从马丁的语类概念,即一种分阶段的、有目的的社会过程出发,讨论了语篇“意图”的归属问题、语类和语域相分离、语类和三大元功能,进一步澄清了语类和系统功能语言学基本概念之间的关系。
The present paper centers around the genre theory in the field of Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL). Ensuing a summary of theoretical explorations on the concept of genre in Chinese mainland, focus has been placed on Martin’s genre theory after a brief review about Halliday and Hasan’s generic studies. The main part consists in discussions on discourse purpose, genre and field, genre and metafunctions, which are intended to help further clarify relevant concepts in the genre theory of SFL.
