英语与应用型专业的交融是时代发展的必然要求,是高职院校外语教学发展的重要方向。ESP课程正是新形势下学科交融的重要实践和高校英语教学发展的必要途径。本文探讨了现今我国高职院校开设ESP课程的情况,分析了其中的问题和原因,提出必须要从交叉学科的角度开展新型的ESP教学研究,以提高ESP教学质量和效果。
The integration of English into other applied majors reflects the development and the trend of modern society and college English teaching. ESP courses are such important practice, which also meets the needs of China College English education reform. This article aims to explore the design of ESP courses in China, analyze potential problems and their causes. It proposes an interdisciplinary view on the construction of ESP curriculum in order to enhance the quality and effect of ESP teaching.
