自上世纪七十年代末,我国实行研究生培养制度并确定外语专业包括文学和语言两个方向后,人们开始认识到语言学理论对编写英语教材、语法书和词典具有无可替代的指导作用。本文试图根据近些年出版的部分英英词典和英汉词典的特色,讨论词典编纂水平的提高如何得益于统属于语言学的词典学、词汇学、形态学、句法学、语义学、语境和语用学、符号学、多模态学等发展起来的先进理念。
Since the end of the 1970s, China has begun to enroll postgraduates and acknowledged that both literature and language are two orientations under the discipline of foreign languages. The leading role of linguistic theories in the compilation of textbooks, grammar and dictionaries has been fully recognized. Based on the features of English-English and English-Chinese dictionaries published in the recent years, this paper attempts to explore how the improvement of dictionary compilation has benefited from the development of lexicology, lexicography, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, semiotics, multi-modalities, etc.
