本文结合汉语界对致使结构的研究成果,基于加的夫语法这一新的视阈,从形式和意义两个层面对现代汉语“使”字结构进行了分析。基于加的夫语法以语义为中心的原则,论证了“使”字在该结构中的词性。通过典型真实例证,对“使”字结构的句法结构、语义特征和句法功能进行了深入的探讨,并借助树形图将分析结果清晰地呈现出来。本文为汉语“使”字结构研究提供了一种新的视角和借鉴意义。
Based on the findings of the academic Chinese circles, this paper studies the form and meaning of the “shi”-causative construction from the Cardiff Grammar perspective. Guided by the meaning-oriented Cardiff Grammar principle, the paper establishes “Shi” as a Main Verb in the construction. Taking quite a number of sentences as examples, the paper analyzes the syntactic structure, semantic features and syntactic functions of the “shi”-causative constructions. Results of the analysis are explicitly presented with tree diagrams.
