本文以自建英语报刊社论语料库中高频词为意核,在分析共现词、类联接、语义趋势和语义韵的基础上,基于评价理论和概念整合理论详细地阐释其典型类联接结构内隐含的词汇和小句态度资源。研究发现:(1)在三种典型搭配框架里,社论几乎没有使用情感系统,主要使用判断系统和鉴赏系统态度资源;(2)社论对中国和不同国家的关系有着不同的评价,对中国的事物和行为基本持肯定的态度;(3)社论的态度通常以隐性的方式表达,提高评论的客观性。
This thesis aims to disclose the attitudes hidden in English newspaper editorials based on lexical grammar theory with an analysis of the highest frequent word and its collocation, colligation, semantic preference and prosody. The author analyzes detailedly the attitudinal words and clauses in the typical colligations based on the appraisal theory and conceptual blending theory. The study finds that the editorials seldom use affect system and mainly use judgment and appreciation system to express the attitudes, have various attitudes toward the relationship between China and different countries and positive attitudes towards China's issues and China's behaviors and strategies, and frequently implicitly express attitudes to improve appraisal's objectivity.
