本文报道中国理工科大学生英语写作语料库(CSEMWEC)的设计、构建和应用。CSEMWEC的学习者因素包括语料来源、英语学习年限、受教育程度和所学专业;任务因素包括文本类型、写作时限和工具书的使用。该语料库由通用英语、职场英语、学术英语等三个子库构成,库容规模达325.6万词;其主要用途为理工科大学生写作能力标准制定、自主学习平台搭建、中介语短语特征研究、中介语历时研究、翻译研究等。
The present paper presents the design, construction and uses of Chinese Science and Engineering Majors Written English Corpus (CSEMWEC). The learner variables of CSEMWEC include text source, level proficiency, education background and major; the task variables of CSEMWEC include text type, time limit and use of reference tools. CSEMWEC consists of three sub-corpora, EGP, EOP and EAP, with a total of 325.6 million running words. It is expected to inform the development of English writing standard for Chinese Science and Engineering Majors, the construction of the autonomous teaching-learning platform, interlanguage phraseological studies, longitudinal interlanguage studies, translation studies and so on.
