英语口语一直是多数学生们难以突破的瓶颈,这固然与当前的应试性教学方法有关,同时也与中国学生畏错、害羞的心理因素有关。本研究针对广东省某独立学院的大学生口语能力作SPSS统计分析,考察语境因素对其口语能力的影响,尤其对于写作能力好而口语能力差的学生追踪分析其心理因素、交际模式、自主学习模式、口语学习动机等,从而提出改善口语课堂效果及提高学生口语能力的建议。
Spoken English has always been the bottleneck for most English learners, which relates not only to the examination-oriented teaching modes, but also to the negative psychology of Chinese students—timidity and fearing for losing face. This study conducted an SPSS analysis on the correlation of spoken English and contextual factors, targeting students from a private college, with a special focus on the students who were good at writing but poor at spoken English, whose interactive mode, psychology and motives of spoken English acquisition are analyzed. Suggestions for improving the effect of spoken English class and students' language output are given after a thorough discussion.
