摘要

回顾近半个世纪的大学英语教学,从20世纪70年代初的听说读写“四会”,到后来的听说读写译“五能”,再到目前的听说读写译+语法“六艺”,英语阅读能力的培养,一直是高等教育关注的重点。本文通过认知语言学框架下的构式研究,从“字词句”层面的英语短语习语入手,为新时期大学英语阅读教学的改革,特别是大学生深度阅读能力的培养,提供一种新的思路。

Abstract

Over the past half century, the reading skill in college English has been a major concern of higher education in China. The present study emphasizes the important role of phrases and idioms for English reading in general and deep reading in particular. To meet this end, a framework of cognitive linguistics and construction grammar has been adopted in this paper.
