新时代大学教育强调重视本科教学,坚持服务需求、成果导向;提升课堂教学质量,打造“金课”已经成为教育界共识。外语教学领域,中国学者为创造中国特色的外语教学理论体系一直在努力,并取得了积极成果。在此环境下,植根于本土教学环境与国内英语学习者特点,提倡“阅读与讨论”并重的“RfD教学模型”应运而生。该教学模式对发挥学生学习主动性,增强课堂教学效率,促进“有效教学”具有积极作用。文章首先对“RfD教学模型”进行评价,然后提出有效教学只是改进课堂教学质量,打造金课的环节之一。要真正提升学生学习效能,有效教学必须与有效学习、有效应用有机结合起来,形成“教、学、用”三位一体的闭环结构:“教”是基础,“学”是根本,“用”是目标,三个环节唯有有机统一,且皆“有效”,形成良性循环,才能有效增进学生的学习效能。文章同时结合实例,对现行的外语教学模式进行了评价,提出了教学模式评价的生态范式。希冀对中国特色外语教学理论的探索提供启示。
