本文根据全球联机计算机图书馆中心(OCLC)的数据库——OCLC First Search WorldCat书目数据库的全球图书馆收藏数据,考察《习近平谈治国理政》在全球(除中国大陆外)的传播状况。依据该数据库,统计全球收藏《习近平谈治国理政》13个语种的图书馆数量及其分布的国家和地区,粗线条地勾画《习近平谈治国理政》全球传播地图,并重点考察了该书英文版和中文版在全球(除中国大陆外)的传播状况,尤其是在美国的传播状况。研究结果表明,《习近平谈治国理政》在海外广受关注,影响广泛深远。在美国,不仅深受学术精英的高度关注,而且与美国普通读者近距离接触。

This paper attempts to explore the global communication of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China for its status quo and impacts. In light of the OCLC First Search statistics, we hope to draw a global communication map of the works in 13 languages by sorting out the numbers of libraries with the works and the countries involved as well. A special attention is given to the global communication maps of the English and Chinese versions, particularly those in the US. Our research findings show that the works are widely read, and are exerting significant and profound impacts at a world level. In the US alone, the works not only have allured great interest in the academia but also moved away from the periphery with small readership to the center with a large one, where the works are easily available to ordinary Americans.
