Effects of Input Features on Difficulty Perception of Authentic Listening Comprehension Tasks
影响听力任务难度的任务特征包括语篇因素、活动因素、学习者因素,其中语篇因素相对恒定,是决定任务难度的最主要因素。本研究应用文本分析在线工具,基于大量的新闻原声音频,探究影响学习者真实听力理解任务难度感知的主要语篇特征,研究量化英语新闻短消息和长特写文本的词汇、句法、篇章连贯和语义特征,实时测试获取学生对理解语篇的难度评价,进行相关分析和多元回归分析检验。结果显示:近20项语篇特征对新闻难度有显著影响,其中短消息理解难易度主要取决于语篇的数字密度、Flesch易读度、名词词组密度、语速和学术词汇比例,而长特写主要取决于Coh-Metrix二语易读度和邻句前指重叠比例。两种新闻体裁的难度影响因素有重合也有差异,证实了交际任务类型在听力任务难度研究中的核心地位。
