Abstract Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) is an important component of naval-unmanned-system. However, the lack of air-defense capability makes USV unable to satisfy requirements of naval battle in the future. This paper introduces the development of USV and shipboard airdefense system，then makes an analysis of suitable USVs anti-aircraft weapon and its combat mode. Finally, some key technologies of Unmanned Air-defense Surface Vehicle are presented，providing support for the development of our follow-up USV equipment.
