The Staged Reconstruction in Treatment of Adult Complete Treacher Collins Syndrome

摘要： 目的探索治疗完全型TCS的新方法。方法通过分期手术重建面部轮廓,包括:颅骨外板移植重建上面部骨骼;下颌骨牵引延长联合正颌外科手术治疗小颌畸形;脂肪充填矫正面部凹陷。结果对2例完全型TCS患者采用上述方法治疗,手术效果满意。结论通过分期重建手术能有效矫正TCS的特征性畸形面容。

Abstract: Objective To explore the surgical management of Treacher Collins syndrome（TCS） which is a congenital craniofacial malformations affecting the structures derived from the first and second brachial arches.Methods The surgical approach is staged reconstruction,including upper facial reconstruction with specially designed outer calvarial table,mandibular lengthening by distraction osteogenesis technique,orthognathic surgery to correct the birdlike facial appearance and anterior open bite,as well as lipo-filling for the correction of residual depressive deformities.Results Two adult patients have undergone this protocol and the results were satisfactory.Conclusion The staged reconstruction is a good way to correct the deformity of the adult patient with complete Treacher Collins syndrome.
