Abstract: Fat infiltration plays an important role in the pathological development of muscle related diseases， and is closely related to disease recurrence and poor prognosis. In recent years， the research on the potential mechanism of intramuscular fat infiltration has been highly popular at home and abroad， mainly focusing on the basic and clinical research related to skeletal muscle and myocardial fat infiltration. In this paper， the relevant literature on the pathogenesis of intramuscular fat infiltration in skeletal muscle and myocardium in recent years was reviewed， to provide assistance for the basic and clinical research of intramuscular fat infiltration related diseases.
