Abstract:

Skin aging is a direct manifestation of human aging, which is the result of the joint action of genetic and
environmental factors, and is manifested by cumulative changes in skin structure, function and appearance, such as increased
wrinkles, laxity, elastosis, telangiectasia, and skin pigmentation abnormalities, etc. It is of great significance to delay skin aging
in order to safeguard people’s mental health and the normal physiological function of the skin. Skin aging is a highly complex
and not yet fully understood process, and it is not yet possible to definitively detect and assess aging based on a single biomarker.
In this paper, aging-related biomarkers and their mechanisms of action were described in detail.
