Application of multidisciplinary collaborative nursing model in sequential treatment of cleft lip and palate

Abstract:

Objective To explore the application effect of multidisciplinary collaborative nursing model in the sequential treatment of children with cleft lip and palate. Methods From January 2021 to December 2021, 100 children with congenital cleft lip and palate were selected. The patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group with 50 cases in each group. The control group was given routine care, while the observation group was given multidisciplinary collaborative nursing model on the basis of routine care. The nursing ability and satisfaction of family members were compared between the two groups. Results The nursing ability score and the satisfaction of family members in the observation group which adopting the multidisciplinary collaborative nursing model were better than those in the control group (P<0.05) . Conclusion In the treatment of children with congenital cleft lip and palate, the multidisciplinary collaboration nursing model can effectively improve the quality of family care and parents’ satisfaction with the quality of care.
