Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of diode laser in treating facial steroid-dependent dermatitis. Methods From November 2012 to December 2016, 105 patients suffered steroid-dependent dermatitis were treated with 980 nm diode laser mediated by optical fiber subcutaneously. Results All patients were followed up for 6 to 36 months, the face skin was smooth and clean, and no recurrence was observed. The skin condition before and after laser treatment showed statistical difference (P<0.05). Conclusion The diode laser mediated by optical fiber is a simple and effective method for the treatment of facial steroid-dependent dermatitis with no recurrence.
