Abstract

Objective To explore the effects and complications of removing apocrine sweat glands and keeping subdermal vascular plexus through mini-invasive incisions in treating bromhidrosis.Methods A retrospective analysis was done on 84 bromhidrosis patients who underwent operation of removing apocrine sweat glands and keeping subdermal vascular plexus with mini-invasive incisions.Results The operation was easy to handle.The odors in all the patients were decreased and there were a few complications after 6-20 months'' follow-up.Conclusion The treatment with removing apocrine sweat glands and keeping subdermal vascular plexus by mini-invasive incisions has a satisfactory outcome.
