The university laboratory is an essential base of talent training, scientific research and social service. Continuously promoting construction and development of lab is an important part for discipline construction. Based on the construction and practice of laboratories in the information management and information system majors at South-central University for Nationnalities, this paper puts forward measures of lab construction. According to talent training goal, construction goal and construction content of the laboratory are established, a 4435 experimental teaching system is built up curriculum system of experimental teaching and experimental team are strengthened, training model is reformed. These measures support training goal of application-oriented talents, and cultivate compound type, innovative type, open type talents. By these measures, the ability of the practical ability, employment and comprehensive quality are all improved, the abilities of teaching, research and serving local economy of double type teachers are obviously enhanced.
