摘要

本文综述了基于ERP技术的形态-句法角度下的第二语言习得关键期假说的最新成果,总结评述了以往关键期假说的支持派及反对派的研究。通过综述,本研究支持了趋向性假说(Convergence Hypothesis),即高水平的二语学习者与母语者在语言形态-句法方面的ERP基本无差异。另外,本文也就该领域的研究前景进行了简要讨论。

Abstract

This paper reviews the latest development of Critical Period Hypothesis (CPH) based on ERP technology in second morpho-syntactic acquisition. It first examines the previous studies supporting the CHP and analyzes the methodological problems. The latest research that objects to CPH is also discussed. It demonstrates that Convergence Hypothesis is supported by an increasing number of researchers. No significant difference was found between second language learners with high proficiency levels and the native speakers in morpho-syntactic acquisition. Finally, the authors discuss the future research prospects in the area.
