本研究通过在线翻译识别任务考察了中国英语学习者对翻译歧义词的加工过程,探讨了翻译歧义词类型、翻译优势和母语语义具体性的影响及其交互作用。研究发现:(1)英语学习者表现出显著的翻译歧义词类型效应,词形歧义词的识别反应时比意义歧义词更短,错误率更低;(2)翻译优势效应显著,英语学习者能够更快地识别具有翻译优势的主要翻译对等词,正确率更高;(3)翻译歧义词的加工受到母语语义具体性的影响,表现为抽象翻译歧义词的正确率更高。研究结果表明翻译歧义词类型、翻译优势和母语语义具体性均显著影响中国英语学习者对翻译歧义词的加工。
