随着全球化的加速发展,英语全球化与本土化研究中的ELF(English as a Lingua Franca,“作为通用语的英语”)范式开始兴起,本文详细介绍了ELF的各种特性,并对ELF范式与WS(World Englishes,“世界英语”)范式进行了比较分析,最后论述了ELF研究范式对“中国英语”研究和中国英语教学的各种重要启示。
In recent years, with the acceleration of globalization, ELF (English as a Lingua Franca) paradigm is emerging in the research of English Language Globalization and Localization. In this paper, a detailed introduction is made on various features of ELF, and a comparative analysis is made of ELF paradigm and WS (World Englishes) paradigm. Finally, the important implications of ELF paradigm for the study of “China English” as well as English Teaching in China are expatiated on.
