摘要

以中美经贸纠纷背景下中国国务院新闻办公室发布的两份中美经贸立场白皮书为语料,考察其对中美两国国家道义立场定位、评判、结盟的元语用特征。研究发现,中方政府的话语道义立场构建基于断言类言语行为,同时以指令类言语行为和承诺类言语行为共同构建中国的话语道义立场,构建的难点在于如何让美方理解并认同中方在悠久历史文化背景中所形成的语用惯习。

Abstract

This paper, by selecting as analytical data the two White Papers on China-US Trade Disputes issued by State Council of the People’s Republic of China in 2018 and 2019, aims to reveal the meta-pragmatic resources and strategies used to construct the deontic stance positions and evaluations of China and US and their (dis) alignments. It’s found that assertives work as the main pragmatic resources of the Chinese deontic stance construction, followed by the directives and the commissives; the obstacle China needs to cross over lies in how to make understood to the US the official pragmatic habits formed in China’s long cultural and historical development.
