An Exploration of Fang Mengzhi’s Distinctively Systematic Thoughts on Development of Pragmatic Translatology

Abstract: In-depth and expansive systematic studies of pragmatic translation require development of a system of theoretic categories at micro-medium-macro levels and complicate theoretic and practical problems in translating demand multidimensional theoretic elaborations. The paper, with a summative analysis of Fang Mengzhi’s distinctively systematic thoughts on development of pragmatic translatology, aims at developing multidimensional perspectives and exploring new research categories.
