Abstract: In the frame of subjectivity, foreign language education is individual-centered, and emphasizes the purpose of controlling or reshaping. Due to the limitation of individual-subjected education, it is hard to achieve the communicating and understanding goals of language education. Foreign language education is essentially a communicational practice between teachers and learners, aiming at constructing a community of language learning. Therefore, foreign language education should surpass the notion of subjectivity, be interaction-oriented, initiative-oriented, equality-oriented, and improvement-oriented, and then, make an expansion to intersubjectivity through the practical path of educational materials, pedagogical designs, and evaluations.
