Li Yashu's thoughts of science translation are attributed to his extraordinary starting point, multifold expertise and talents, abundant translation practice in several languages, and rich administration experience in translation work and foreign affairs. Initiated in a new era of the fast development of China's sci-tech translation, his thoughts are derived from his studies on sci tech translation and exploration of establishing science translatology, and applied to the practice of translator education and team construction.
