Abstract: 　With the change of modern medical model, integrating humanistic care spirit into clinical medical education and cultivating medical talents with both scientific literacy and humanistic spirit have become the development trend of modern medical education. Cleft lip and palate teaching has always been the key point and difficulty in the course of oral and craniomaxillofacial deformities. From the perspective of sequential treatment of cleft lip and palate, this paper has explored how to strengthen the cultivation of humanistic care consciousness of medical students through clinical practice, so as to improve the effect of clinical teaching.
