Clinical effect of Botox microdrop injection on improving
the skin of lower face contour and neck

Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical effect of Botox microdrop injection on improving the skin of lower face contour and neck. Methods From June 2018 to December 2019, a total of 115 beauty seekers (111 female and 4 male, aged 20-65 years) were treated with Botox microdrop injection. The diluted Botox (1 mL normal saline containing 20 units of botulinum toxin A) was injected into the subcutaneous or superficial layer of the marginal area of the mandible and neck by microdrop method, and the lifting and tightening effect of Botox on the skin in this area was observed. Results After one month of injection, the skin sagging of the lower face contour was improved, the contour line of the mandibular margin became clearer, the loose skin of the neck became tight, and the neck lines became shallower. The effect was satisfactory in 108 beauty seekers. Conclusion Botox microdrop injection has a good therapeutic effect on the aging, relaxation and sagging of the lower face contour and neck skin.
