The Application of Back Skin Grafts for the Repair of Large Skin Defects

Abstract

Abstract: Objective To explore the advantages of back skin grafts in the repairmen of large skin defects.Methods Fifty patients with different causes of skin defects,including deep burn of functional parts,later scar contracture,huge tumor resection are in this study.According to the location and the size of defects,split thickness skin graft was harvested on the back and transfered to the defects.Results After operation,the patients were followed-up for 1-2 years,all graft skin survived completely,and the function and appearance of the transplant area were good,with no scar hyperplasia or little.Conclusion Taking back as the donor site of skin graft is an ideal choice for the repair of large skin defects.
