Application of liposuction in the treatment of patients with chronic late lymphedema

Abstract

Abstract: With the deepening of our understanding of the pathophysiological mechanism of lymphedema and the updating of treatment methods, there has been more and more evidence showing that liposuction can be used for patients with chronic advanced lymphedema in terms of objective measurement and subjective feelings of patients. In this paper, focused on the application of liposuction in the treatment of patients with lymphedema, the treatment principles, surgical indications, therapeutic effects and combined applications were all comprehensively reviewed.
