Application of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment plan in the wound repair after oral and maxillofacial head and neck tumor surgery

Abstract:

Objective To explore the application value of the integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine
treatment plan in the woud repair of tissue defects after surgery for oral and maxillofacial head and neck tumors. Methods A
total of 53 cases of post-operative wounds of oral and maxillofacial head and neck tumors were treated with traditional Chinese
medicine changpi plaster combined with antibacterial dressings and other western medicine. The wound healing was observed
after operation. Results In these cases, the shortest treatment time was 23 days, the longest treatment time was 1 year and
43 days. 35 cases were cured, 12 cases were markedly effective, 6 cases were ineffective. Conclusion The combination
of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine has obvious curative effect on postoperative wounds of oral and
maxillofacial head and neck tumors, which can avoid multiple skin flap surgical repair, and is worthy of promotion.
