Abstract:

　As an extremely important clinical method in plastic reconstruction, skin soft tissue expansion is widely

used in the treatment of large-area skin defects. However, insufficient expansion efficiency and related complications limit

its development. Plenty of researches have studied the molecular mechanism and potential regulatory targets related to skin

expansion, and also explored how to improve the expansion efficiency and reduce the incidence of related complications. In this

paper, the research progress related to skin soft tissue expansion was reviewed, and some possible development directions of this

technology in the future were suggested.
