Abstract:To evaluate the effectiveness of a phased array radar in complex electromagnetic environments, the anti-jamming evaluation index system and evaluation method were developed. First, the behaviour state changes of the radar after being interfered with were analyzed. Then, three evaluation criteria of anti-interference improvement factor, suppression coefficient and anti-interference ability measurement were constructed, together with four anti-interference measurements including phased array system, frequency agility, multiple frequency fluctuation and side-lobe cancellation. After that, the combination of subjective and objective weight methods determined a relatively more reasonable weight, and the technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution (TOPSIS) comprehensive evaluation method was applied to resolve and sort the effectiveness of the anti-interference impacts. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method has been verified by simulation analysis. Compared with the simple analytic hierarchy process, the evaluation results show higher stability and it can be concluded that the model obtains significant application value.
