Abstract:To enhance the operational effectiveness of intercepting hypersonic vehicles, this study evaluates the interception capability of hypersonic vehicle defense systems. An improved Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method was proposed utilizing the grey relational analysis model to assess the interception capability of defense systems from three perspectives: the penetration ability of the vehicle, the detection performance of early-warning radar, and the interception effectiveness of missiles. The validity of the model was verified through a case study. The research results show valuable insights for the design and deployment of defense systems.
