Abstract Besides the traditional fuzewarhead system using the tapered fixed angle fuze, the technology of forward detection using wide-beam can also be used in the design of fuzewarhead system against stealth aircraft targets. The influences on the ranging accuracy by step frequency modulation Doppler coupling effect are analyzed in this article, and the parameters for the fuzewarhead system are also selected and analyzed. The results of simulation indicate that the range of velocity measurement error should be regulated below 28 m/s in order to make the offset of target distance image in a single unit.
