Abstract A digital demodulation method of subcarrier amplitudemodulated signal is proposed in this paper, and super heterodyne coherent receiving system, digital down converter and timeshared multiplex technology are used to decrease the hardware resource. Matlab simulation is accomplished, and the simulation results demonstrate the correction and validity of digital demodulation method. Finally, the design is realized in a low cost FPGA. The demodulation system based on digital demodulation method is strong in antiinterference. The simple composition is convenient for the miniaturization of device, and its performance is stable and reliable in different work environment.
