Abstract The calculation method of radar target characteristics of helicopter mainly includes total size measurement, scale reduction model measurement, dynamic measurement, mathematical simulation calculation, etc. In this paper, for the complex electromagnetic scattering characteristics of helicopter, use physical optics method and equivalent electromagnetic flow method to establish a set of helicopter RCS simulation calculation method, and then use this method to calculate the RCS of a certain type of helicopter, and compare with the results of radar scattering test to verify the effectiveness of the method.
