Abstract For the military operations of air strike on Syria by the US, Britain and France in 2018, this paper studies the characteristics of involved cruise missiles, the features of this air strike, and the highlights of participated air defense equipment of Syria and Russia. Through analysis of open information, the paper summarizes the operational experience of this air strike and obtains several inspirations for development of air defense equipment against cruise missiles, which can provide the support for development of future air defense equipment.
